On 11 November this year, BESCO is organising the first edition of its "Hall of Fame — Hall of Fame of Bulgarian Entrepreneurs."
The goal of the event is to recognise each year a person from our ecosystem based on the success they have achieved and the influence they have had on the development of the entrepreneurial environment and our country.
The event will be held on the main stage of the National Theatre, making a symbolic connection between a place historically associated with our culture and values over the last 130 years, and the people who represent new values and who look forward to the future.
🎖️ Nominations
From 29 July to 11 August (inclusive), a nomination process is taking place, during which every BESCO member and follower has the open opportunity to share the name of the person they believe deserves to win the prestigious award.
The criteria for recognising the first person in the "Hall of Fame" are as follows:
✅ Must have contributed to the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem for a period of over 10 years. ✅ Must have an unquestionably good reputation. ✅ Must not be an active political figure at the time of nomination. ✅ Must not be a member of the BESCO Board of Directors.

Leadership & Advocacy Academy doesn’t only develop individual participants. For BESCO, it is a long-term investment in a stronger ecosystem - building capacity where it matters most: within the organizations, institutions, and communities that shape the public environment.

In this opinion, BESCO objects to the proposed requirement that insurance contracts be signed mandatorily with a qualified electronic signature (QES), as this raises costs and hinders access to insurance services and duplicates the framework already in place in the LEDETS (Law on Electronic Document and Electronic Trust Services).
